Other Narrative Report Writers Fall Short

There are a few "narrative writing" tools out there. We have looked at them. They are really form-filling programs connected to other software products like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Jump from spreadsheet to spreadsheet to fill in a series of blanks and out comes a cookie-cutter report. Hard to understand and use, limited or no analysis capability and limited customization options. It looks like everything, including the kitchen sink, has been thrown in. But using these products? Go to this spreadsheet for this, go to that spreadsheet for that. Now you can load MS Word. Did you include all of the separate sections that you need? Good Luck. In several of the fields, unlimited text can be entered so that you can describe various property details completely - e.g. Description, Area, and Neighboorhood. In addition 9 "notes" fields are provided so that unlimited notes can be added for future reference. Field names can be customized to suit your particular requirements. For example, the File Number field can be changed to the File Reference field or the Tax Map No. field can be changed to the Lot and Block field.

Investment Analyst Support

Insert Investment Analyst calculations and variables throughout your document. For example, the Vacancy Rate used in the analysis can be inserted in the paragraph that discusses the vacancy. Insert the Capitalization Rate used in your discussion of the capitalization process. Practically any number used in your analysis or calculated by Analyst can be directly inserted into your narrative. Just click on the Fields button (See graphic to the left).

Insert any Investment Analyst report anywhere in your narrative. The Income Statement, the AMET Report, the Multiyear Income Statement. Any Report. Commercial Complete Database Support

A powerful real estate database, based upon the Commercial Complete engine, is incorporated into Narrative Complete. Any Commercial Complete field or full report can be inserted anywhere in your document. The Property Description field, the street address, the owner, previous sale price, photographs, etc. More than 250 fields are available.

Client Information for Each Assignment

Additional Client Fields have been added just for Narrative Complete. Each Assignment has eight dates so that you track the progress of a job.

Once you connect the property data to a client, Narrative Complete does the rest. Either start a new document and insert the fields and reports that are appropriate, or load a document that was created for a previous assignment and Narrative Complete will update all of the fields in the document for the current assignment. Values, Reports, etc. all will be automatically changed to conform to the new property.

Company Information
