Demonstration Mode
Until registered, this software will run in Evaluation mode for up to 30
days. The evaluation version of Investment Analyst is fully functional
and will allow you to evaluate all of the many features of this software.
You will be able to see exactly how easy our software is to use and how
easy it is to produce quality analyses.
Licensed Owners
When our software is installed on a computer that has a previous version
of the product installed, the new installation will replace the old version
of the product. Even if you have not purchased the latest upgrade, we recommend
that you install the latest version of your product because it also serves
as a Maintenance Update. While the new features that were added since your
last upgrade will not be available unless you purchase an upgrade, maintenance
items in the newest version will improve the operation of the software
on your computer. There is never a charge for a Maintenance Update.
Registering Investment Analyst
- When installation is complete, an icon will be placed in your Start Menu
Programs and on your Desktop.
- Double-click on the Investment Analyst icon to start the software.
- If you are downloading the software to run the Demo, click on the Run Demo
Button. It is not necessary to register to run in Evaluation Mode.
If you have purchased Investment Analyst
- Click on the Register button.
- Click on the Email Registration Request button.
- Your default Email program will open with your ComputerID (we need this
number) filled in. Tell us who you are and click the Send button.
- You can then exit Investment Analyst. We will send Registration Information via Email as soon as possible. This can take up to 4 hours during the normal business day. On weekends and holidays you will receive your Registration Information on the next business day. Follow the instructions in the Email that we send to complete your installation.
- If the email function does not work automatically, send a short email to
ID@dcfsoftware.com that contains the ComputerID that is displayed on the
Registration Screen. Be sure to identify who you are so that we may look
up your registration information.

To download Investment Analyst, click the link at the top of this page
or the one immediately below this paragraph. After clicking on this link,
a new window will appear. Select Run to install the software from the Internet,
or Save to save the installation file to your hard drive. If Investment
Analyst is presently installed on your computer, there is no need to uninstall
the old version. The installation program will detect your present version
and replace it. Data that you have saved will not be lost.
